“Een juweeltje in Antwerpen (Deurne). Gelegen in een woonwijk waar het heerlijk rustig is, ligt deze prachtige B&B van Marco en Alex. Zeer ruime B&B met een grote slaap-/zitkamer met hoge plafonds. Een grote keuken met tevens een zithoek grenzend aan de tuin met grote schuifdeuren. De badkamer met toilet en douche is ook royaal. Het geheel ademt de sfeer van een warm herenhuis. Alles in de B&B is prachtig klassiek ingericht, met veel oog voor detail en aankleding. Marco en Alex zijn hele open en vriendelijke hosts, die goed contact met je onderhouden. Je voelt je meteen compleet thuis. Een uitgebreid ontbijt wordt op verzoek geregeld. Een fijne start van je dag. Prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is uitstekend. Mijn nieuwe thuis in Antwerpen :)”

Very spacious B&B with a large bedroom/sitting room with high ceilings. A large kitchen with also a sitting area adjacent to the garden with large sliding doors. The bathroom with toilet and shower is also generous. The whole breathes the atmosphere of a warm mansion. Everything in the B&B is beautifully classically decorated, with great attention to detail and decoration. Marco and Alex are very open and friendly hosts, who maintain good contact with you. You immediately feel completely at home. An extensive breakfast is arranged on request. A fine start to your day. Price/quality ratio is excellent. My new home in Antwerp :)”

“Hartelijk onthaald op de dag van aankomst in een gezellige ruimte. Het bed oogt uitnodigend en ligt geweldig. Voldoende ruimte om te zitten aan de keukentafel maar ook op de bank om je te goed te doen aan een boek. Ook voldoende van aanwezig. De badkamer is ruim en netjes. Er is een tuintje waar je bij mooi weer kan zitten en het lijkt me ook heel leuk om daar te ontbijten. Je bent er van alle gemakken voorzien.
Door de tram die dichtbij stopt, ben je op 15 min in het centrum van Antwerpen of kan je eventueel een uitstapje maken naar het shoppingcenter in Wijnegem. Boeken, inchecken en uitchecken verlopen vlot en je kan altijd met je vragen terecht. Ik ga zeker nog eens terug!”
“Warmly welcomed on the day of arrival in a cozy room. The bed looks inviting and is great. Plenty of room to sit at the kitchentable but also on the couch to indulge in a book. Also plenty of present. The bathroom is spacious and clean. There is a small garden where you can sit when the weather is nice and it also seem sto me very nice to have breakfast there. You are provided with all conveniences. Because of the streetcar that stops nearby, you can be in the center of Antwerp in 15 min or you can possibly make a trip to the shopping center in Wijnegem. Booking, check-in and check-out went smoothly and you can always ask questions. I will definitely go back again!”

“Een heel mooie herenwoning waar de onderste verdieping volledig voor de gasten is. Een groot en goed bed (met 2 verschillende soorten kussens per persoon) aan de voorzijde met tv met Netflix en een zitbank, een mooie dubbele houten deur met versiering en glas brengt je naar de ruime keuken met eettafel en zitbank. Er is een leuk terrasje bij met meubilair. De badkamer heeft een toilet, wastafel en grote, mooie douche, maar ook shampoo en douchegel. In de keuken staat een koffiezetapparaat, een espressomachine, een microgolf, een koelkast, servies en bestek. Je kan hier dus gerust enkele dagen verblijven. Ook zijn er heel wat boeken aanwezig en een radio om het knus en gezellig te maken tijdens je verblijf. Je kan ontbijt laten voorzien door de gastheer voor een budgetvriendelijke prijs. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door Marco. Ook de communicatie op voorhand en tijdens ons verblijf verliep perfect! Zeer gastvrije mensen. In een rustige buurt, tussen woonhuizen maar met enkele horecazaken op wandelafstand. Dus om iets te eten, hoef je niet ver te lopen. Je kan betalend parkeren in de straat (van 9-19u) maar het tarief is niet hoog en je krijgt de eerste 2u gratis. Als je na 19u toekomt, is het soms wel even zoeken naar een plaatsje maar het is ons 2 avonden gelukt om in de buurt te parkeren. Aanrader om Deurne te bezoeken, niet ver van het park Rivierenhof en met het openbaar vervoer kan je makkelijk naar Antwerpen centrum.”
“A very nice townhouse where the bottom floor is entirely for guests. A large and good bed (with 2 different types of pillows per person) at the front with TV with Netflix and a sofa, a beautiful double wooden door with decoration and glass takes you to the spacious kitchen with diningtable and sofa. There is a nice little terrace attached with furniture. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and large, nice shower, as well as shampoo and shower gel. In th ekitchen there is a coffee maker, an espresso machine, a microwave, a refrigerator, dishes and cutlery. So you can easily stay here for several days. There are also lots of books and a radio to make it cozy during your stay. You can have breakfast provided by the host for a budget-friendly price. We were very kindly received by Marco. Also the communication beforehand and during our stay was perfect! Very hospitable people. In a quiet neighborhood, between residential houses but with some catering establishments within walking distance. So to eat something, you do not have to walk far. You can pay to park in the street (from 9-19h) but the rate is not high and you get the first 2h free. If you arrive after 7pm, it is sometimes a bit of a search for a spot but we managed to park nearby 2 nights. Recommended to visit Deurne, not far from the park Rivierenhof and with public transport you can easily get to Antwerp center.”

“Een echte aanrader deze mooie en rustige B&B gelegen in het groene Deurne (groot openbaar park Rivierenhof om de hoek) en slechts 10 minuten per tram of bus verwijderd van het centrum van Antwerpen. Het appartement op de begane grond is zeer ruim, schoon, sfeervol ingericht met veel planten en zelfs voorzien van een uitgebreide boekenkast, een echt thuisgevoel! Met liefde en zorg is nagedacht over de kleinste details. Het gevarieerde, verse ontbijt werd 's-ochtends op de afgesproken tijd door gastheer Marco gebracht. Ik heb hier 3 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht, alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd, zonder meer voor herhaling vatbaar. Bedankt Marco voor de gastvrijheid!”
“Highly recommended this beautiful and quiet B&B located in green Deurne (large public park Rivierenhof around the corner) and only 10 minutes by streetcar or bus from the center of Antwerp. The apartment on the first floor is very spacious, clean, tastefully decorated with many plants and even equipped with ane xtensive bookcase, a real feeling of home! With love and care was thought about the smallest details. The varied, fresh breakfast was brought in the morning by host Marco at the appointed time.I spent 3 wonderfuldays here, everything was taken care of to perfection, definitely worth repeating. “Sehr schöne Tagemit tollen Gastgebern. Die Unterkunft liegt in einerschönen kleinen Straße, wirhatten Glück und haben direkt in der Näheeinen Parkplatz gefunden… der Parkautomat steht am Anfang der Straße Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die kleine Wohnung ist sehr schöne ingerichtet. Das Frühstück haben wir sehr genossen. Mit der Straßenbahn, die gar nicht weit entfernt liegt, sind wir nach Antwerpen gefahren. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.”

Even though it's on the ground floor, no one is interested or can see inside! Every now and then, a few cars or people passed by, I personally am not disturbed.
